my friends house is flooded... my gravel drive way is destroyed, i couldnt leave my house for 2 days because the water was so high, i have to spend 800$ to get more gravel for my drive way and this is all the way in memphis... im thankful that im not living in nashville and sad for those who are and are recieving no help i have a question where the hell is the goverment? why isnt anyone helping us? the only people helping us is ourselves.

@woodpeckers11 theres only a little looting, but those idiots are being taken care of by our police :] i just hope we can keep it under control and that people stop thinking its okay to loot and steal. we just got back into my boyfriend's neighborhood from being evacuated and police have to ID us all because people are looting. how sad.

Excellent. I thought some of West TN's flooding was bad.. Phew. Seeing the Opryland Hotel like that is insane. It's a huge place. Can't imagine them cleaning every nook and cranny! Stay safe everyone.

The reason this is getting little national coverage and why we haven't received any help is because we aren't complaining and saying woe is us, please come help us. We are doing it ourselves. If we were looting and rioting and doing stupid crap we would get more attention but we aren't because we have more class and that's always how it's going to be.
